ENID, Oklahoma -- The NOC Mavs scored early and often in a 19-2 rout of UA Rich Mountain Saturday at David Allen Memorial.
The Mavs set the tone in the first as Luke Shannahan blasted a three run homer run that gave the Mavs an early 3-0 lead.
Tonkawa continued the enslaught with nine runs in the 3rd inning to build on a 5-0 lead.
NOC then scored another five runs over the final two innings.
Blade Carver had four hits while Matthew Stancliff added three. Landen Johnson, Luke Shannahan, Rick Requejo, Elijah Laus, and Carson Taylor had two hits each.
Johnson and Shannahan had four runs batted in each while Laus added three.
The Mavs out hit the Bucks 18-4.
Caleb Lunnon had all the offensive support he needed and capitalized allowing just two runs on four hits over five innings to earn the win.
The Mavs (40-17) face South Ark Saturday at 4 p.m. in the winner's bracket.
