The NOC Lady Mavs hit 15 3-pointers Thursday night in a 113-72 blowout of Western at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

Kaydrin Scott led six Lady Mavs (5-8, 2-0 in conference) in scoring with 23 points while Brooke Robertson added 22.  Western fell to 3-12 on the year and 0-2 in league play.

Allison Green added 14 while Marta Perez and Maddy Wehrenberg added 13 each.  Ashlynn Fincher pitched in with 10.

"We got off to a good start which is something we have wanted to improve on," said coach Greg Krause.  "I thought our scoring balance was good for four quarters. We're looking forward to two tough conference road games next week."

NOC bolted out to a 32-17 first quarter lead and were never threatened by the Lady Pioneers.  NOC led 53-33 at the half and then cruised in the second half.

The Lady Mavs travel to Seminole on Jan. 15, tip-off is set for 2 p.m. weather permitting.
