PIEDMONT, Oklahoma --  The NOC Mavs saw their 2023 season come to an end Friday in the South Central District Tournament losing to Eastern 13-5.

The Mavs finished the season with a 27-25 record.  

NOC led the Mountaineers 5-3 until Eastern scored 10 unanswered runs over the final three innings.

Morgan Meyer drove in the Mavs' first run with a second inning single scoring Savannah Chenoweth.  Hannah Endicott then singled home Meyer and Haiden Huster and the Mavs led 3-1.

Chenoweth then belted a solo home run in the third and then Alexandra Griffin scored the final run with a triple, scoring on an Eastern error in the fourth.

Emma Enderud and Lauren Bratcher worked in the circle for the Mavs.
