A rout and an improbable rally.

NOC Tonkawa run ruled NOC Enid in Game 1 and then rallied with eight runs in the seventh inning to win Game 2 in a doubleheader Thursday in Tonkawa.

The 10-2 and 13-12 wins improved the Mavs to 20-14 and 10-6 in conference play.  The Jets (18-15) dropped to 8-8.

The Mavs won the season series over the Jets 3-1.

In Game 2, the Mavs trailed the Jets 12-5 heading to the seventh when the Mavs pieces together seven hits and two walks to score eight runs.  Haiden Huster, Jayden Looper, Alexandra Griffin, Allison McGowan had rbi's in the inning but Kyla Storts delivered the game winner with a three run double scoring McGowan, Hannah Endicott, and Ryllie Shipp.

Emma Enderud started in the circle, Ashlyne Roblyer earned with win tossing a scoreless seventh.

In Game 1, Lauren Bratcher allowed just two runs over six innings and Storts and Morgan Meyer homered in a 10-2 win.

Griffin had a double, triple, and three runs batted in.  Endicott had two hits and two runs driven in.

The Mavs trailed 2-0 before scoring 10 runs over the final three innings.

NOC is at Rose State Saturday at 2 p.m.
