Chenoweth's home run leads Mavs past Connors

WARNER, Oklahoma -- Savannah Chenoweth homered and drove in four runs in a 13-7 win over Connors in Warner, Oklahoma, on Thursday.

The Mavs lost Game 2 11-3.  NOC (18-14) is 8-6 in conference play while Connors (14-20) is 7-7 in conference.

In Game 1, the Mavs scored in each of the first five innings en route to a 13-7 win.

Savannah Chenoweth hit a three run home run while Jayden Looper and Ryllie Shipp had three hits each in a 12 hit attack.

Shipp and Hannah Endicott drove home two runs each.

Lauren Bratcher earned the win allowing seven runs on nine hits.

In Game 2, Morgan Meyer hit a solo home run and Kyla Storts had two hits but it wasn't enough in an 11-3 loss.

Ashlyne Roblyer started for the Mavs with relief help from Emma Enderud.

The Mavs host NOC Enid Thursday in a conference doubleheader at 2 p.m.
