ENID, Oklahoma -- The NOC Mavs rallied with three runs in the seventh to beat rival NOC Enid 4-3 on Tuesday in Enid.
The Mavs (10-10) dropped Game 2 8-0.
In Game 1, Haiden Huster homered to give NOC Tonkawa a 1-0 lead in the second.
After the Jets scored three in the third to take a 3-1 lead, the Mavs saved their late game heroics for the final inning.
Teagan Honer led off with a single and was lifted for pinch runner Jaci Johnson. Allison McGowan then doubled scoring Johnson and the lead was cut to 3-2.
A Hannah Endicott double then scored McGowan the game was tied at 3-3.
Savannah Chenoweth completed the rally with a two out single scoring Endicott and the Mavs led 4-3.
Lauren Bratcher then retired the Jets in order and the Mavs won 4-3.
Bratcher allowed one earned run and struck out six over seven innings.
In Game 2, the Mavs were limited to two hits and lost 8-0.
Huster and Kyla Storts had singles for the Mavs.
Emma Enderud and Ashlyne Roblyer worked in the circle for the Mavs.
The Mavs are at #7 Seminole Wednesday at 2 p.m.
