The NOC Mavs earned a split with Rose State Saturday in the conference opener in Tonkawa.
Savannah Chenoweth's walk-off single scored Hannah Endicott in a 7-6 win in Game 1. Rose State won the second game 8-3.
In Game 1, Chenoweth also hit a three-run home run while Allison McGowan added a solo shot.
The Mavs were down 6-3 before rallying with two runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to earn the 7-6 win.
Kyla Storts added two hits and two runs scored for NOC.
Lauren Bratcher went the distance allowing three earned runs on 10 hits.
In Game 2, Rose scored five runs in the third en route to an 8-3 win.
Ryllie Shipp had three hits while Kyla Storts had two hits for the Mavs.
Emma Enderud started in the circle with bullpen help from Ashlyne Roblyer.
The Mavs (9-9) are at NOC Enid on Tuesday in their next game action.
