The NOC Mavs led a five point lead get a way late losing to #18 77-76 in the Mavs Classic on Saturday in Tonkawa.

The Mavs (2-6) were led by Javontae Campbell with 18 while Jason Hunt added 14.

Montrez Ward and Brandon Hendryx had 11 each in a balanced Mavs attack.

A Javontae Campbell 3-pointer and layup gave the Mavs a 76-71 lead with 1:38 left but Butler answered with six straight points to take a 77-76 lead.

The Mavs had one last chance but Ward's 3-pointer at the buzzer was just short.
