ARKANSAS CITY, Kansas -- Cowley College broke open a close game in the second half to beat the NOC Mavs 80-64 in the Cowley Classic.

The Mavs (1-2) were led by Javontae Campbell with 18 points while Mohamed Kante added 13.

Kante led the Mavs with eight rebounds while Campbell added six.  Montrez Ward led the Mavs with four assists.

NOC is in Edmond for two games in the UCO Classic, against West Plains (MO) on Sunday and Odessa (TX) on Monday.

The Mav are at home Wednesday against Cowley College at 7:30 p.m.
