Mavs outlast Connors, reach 20 wins

The NOC Mavs cemented their first place lead in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference with an 81-74 win over Connors Monday night in Tonkawa.

NOC (20-6) leads the OCAC with a 11-3 record while Connors (22-5) fell to 8-5.

With two games left, the Mavs have a two game lead over Connors, Murray State, and Seminole.

NOC trailed the Cowboys 38-33 at half before seizing control of the game in the final 10 minutes.  NOC built a 69-57 lead before Connors rallied to within 71-67.

NOC shot 52% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range.
