ENID, Oklahoma --The NOC Mavs won their eighth straight Friday with a 68-63 win over OnPoint Prep at the NOC Enid Classic.
NOC (10-3) was led by Nick Cham who scored 15 points off the Maverick bench. Syrus Grisby added 13 and Fede Federiko 11.
NOC led OnPoint Prep throughout Friday's game but could never shake the academy.
The Mavs stretched a 28-25 halftime lead to as many as 10 points in the second half but had to hold on late.
Grisby and Federiko had eight rebounds each and, Elijah Pickens and DJ Jones had three assists each.
the Mavs shot 57% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range.
