The NOC Mavericks routed Labette 98-68 in the season opener Monday night at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.
Monday's win was the first for coach Brad Witherspoon.
Cam Malray led the Mavs with 21 points while Fede Federiko had 14, Jalen Johnson 13, and Nick Cham 11. Thirteen Mavs scored Monday night.
Monday's game was never in doubt as the Mavs jumped out to an early 17-3 lead breaking the Labette press into easy layups.
After taking a 47-34 lead into the break, the Mavs blew the game wide open building a 79-48 lead and then cruising to the 98-68 win.
The Mavs travel to Cowley Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. against the Tigers.
