POTEAU, Oklahoma -- NOC out hit Carl Albert 12-9 but lost 7-6 in the finale of a three game series at Carl Albert Friday.

Larry Edwards, Jr. had two hits including a home run for the Mavs.  Ethan Rossi, Landen Johnson, and Blade Carver had two hits each as well for NOC.

Carl Albert jumped out to a 7-1 lead, the Mavs rallied with five runs over the final five innings but fell short 7-6.

The Mavs (35-17) are 16-11 in conference play and remain in 3rd place in the conference after taking two of three from the Vikings.

NOC host the Jets from NOC Enid Friday at 1 p.m. in final home games for 2024.
