Mavs earn split at National Park

HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas -- The NOC Mavs earned a split Friday in Hot Springs winning the second game 8-5 after dropping the first 5-3.

The Mavs (25-12) are now 12-6 in league play.

In Game 2, Cash Jay and Cade Tucker homered and Elijah Laus added two hits and two rbi's for the Mavs.

NOC trailed 3-0 before scoring eight unanswered runs over four innings.

Caleb Lunnon worked the first 5.2 innings while Brenden Kamnick worked the final 3.1 innings.

In Game 1, the Mavs built a 3-1 lead before National Park scored three runs in the seventh to win 5-2.

Tucker had two hits for the Mavs while Tucker, Jay, and Mitchell Lucero drove in one run each.

Eli Cartwright started for the Mavs working 6 innings, Blake Priest worked the seventh for the Mavs.
