Coach Ryan Bay earns 300th win at NOC

Mavs' head coach Ryan Bay won his 300th game at NOC Sunday with a 7-6 win over SAU Tech.

The Mavs then won Game 2 16-4.

The Mavs (23-11) improved to 11-5 in conference while SAU Tech (14-19) fell to 3-13 in league play.

In Game 1, Preston Knott had three hits, scored three runs, and stole three bases for the Mavs.  Darian Duhon and Matt Stancliff each had two hits each while Thomas Dunn had three runs batted in.

Caden Fiveash allowed four earned runs in five innings.  Blake Priest worked the seventh allowing one run.

In Game 2, NOC jumped out to a 9-2 lead and routed SAU Tech 16-4.

Elijah Laus had four hits including a three run himer in the Mavs' rout.

Dihon had three hits while Stancliff, Cade Tucker, and Knott had two hits each.

Nate Windle, Jaxon Olive, and Kadin Gehring worked on the mound for the Mavs.  

The Mavs are at Rose State Tuesday in their next action.
