HESSTON, Kansas --  Enrique Alvarez Jr., had four hits including three doubles while Preston Knott had three hits and three rbi's in a 16-12 win over Hesston on Tuesday.

NOC blew the game wide open with eight runs in the fifth to take a commanding 12-4 lead and held on for the 16-12 win.

Darian Duhon added three hits while Mitchell Lucero had two hits for the Mavs.

Cody Hill started for the Mavs backed by Kadin Gehring, Gage Norvell, Brett Carver, Jaxon Olive, and Cale Schroeder.

The Mavs (19-11) host SAU Tech Saturday and Sunday in a return to conference play.
