The NOC Mavs swept Pratt (KS) in a home doubleheader Saturday 2-0 and 8-7.

In Game 1, Eli Cartwright tossed a three-hit shutout and Garrison Brandt's two run homer led the Mavs to the 2-0 win.

Cartwright struck out eight and walked one.  

Brandt's two run home run scored Darian Duhon with the game's only runs in the first inning.

Pratt out hit the Mavs 3-2.

In Game 2, the Mavs jumped out to an 8-0 lead and held on for the 8-7 win.

Cade Tucker homered and doubled for the Mavs while Thomas Dunn had two hits and two runs batted in.

Caleb Lunnon allowed one earned run in six innings striking out five.  Gage Norvell pitched the final inning.

The Mavs (6-3) are at Pratt for a Sunday doubleheader starting at noon.
