Northern Oklahoma College athletic named Nancy Herr and John Woodhead as Student Athletes of the Week.

Woodhead is a sophomore forward from Newcastle, England's Walker Technology College.  Herr is a freshman forward from Blieberville, Texas.

"John (Woodhead) had a great game in the Mavs 2-1 win over Eastern," said coach Michael DuRoy.  "He had an injury in the first half of the season that really hampered him.  Since his return he has had to change positions several times to cover for injured players.  His leadership in the last few games has been as important as his play."

"Nancy (Herr) scored the lone goal against Eastern on Thursday and the previous week scored a great goal against Rose," said coach Jade Ovendale.  "She has been a menace up top for us in her work rate. She makes good runs and will cause defenders to make mistakes."
