Leila Washington, a freshman from Garber, was named Lady Mav Student Athlete of the Week.

For the week, Washington averaged 19.5 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, 2 assists per game, shot 53% from the field (17-32), and 40% from the 3-point line (4-10).

"Leila is hitting some big shots for and playing well on both ends of the floor," said coach Greg Krause.
