NOC Tonkawa rallied in the second half against Connors but fell short 70-68 on Saturday.

The Lady Mavs (5-12) fell to 2-3 in conference play.

Leila Washington led the Lady Mavs with 21 points while Alanna Williams added 17.  Natalie Walker led the Lady Mavs with eight rebounds.

The Lady Mavs shot just 30% from the floor and 22% from 3-point range.

NOC trailed the Cowgirls 36-26 at half before rallying in the third quarter to tie the score at 52-52 after three quarters.
