Leila Washington, a freshman from Garber, was named Lady Mav Student Athlete of the Week.

 For the week, Leila averaged 19 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game. She shot 52% from the field (12-23), 50% from the three-point line (6-12), and 89% from the free throw line (8-9).

"Leila has been scoring consistently and shooting good percentages," said coach Greg Krause.  "Her production is going to be an important part of our conference success."
