
EL DORADO, Kansas -- Jordan Holman scored 23 points Thursday night in a 67-63 loss to Butler County.
NOC Tonkawa trailed the Lady Grizzlies 35-29 at half and cut the Butler lead to 54-51 after three but Butler held on for the four-point win.
Allison Green also reached double figures with 12 while Brooke Robertson added nine.
"These two games (Grayson and Butler) have helped us prepare for the rest of the conference schedule that starts Monday," said coach Greg Krause.
Holman had 11 rebounds while Keely Hussey added four assists. Kaydrin Scott added nine rebounds.
The Lady Mavs (5-8) travel to Seminole State Monday night as conference play returns.
NOC Tonkawa leads the conference with a 3-0 record.
