NOC's Jordan Holman and Shelby Rayner were honored by NJCAA Region 2 this past week.

Holman was named NJCAA Region 2 Freshman of the Year and First Team All Region Team.  She was also named to the Region 2 All-Tournament team.

Rayner was named Newcomer of the Year and Second Team All-Region.

"Jordan and Shelby had outstanding first-year seasons," said coach Greg Krause.  "Jordan is a reliable scorer and rebounder. Shelby has led the team all season from the point guard position. For Jordan to be selected Freshman Player of the Year, and Shelby Newcomer of the Year, shows they have also been highly respected within our conference."

Holman is a freshman from Hugo, Oklahoma, while Rayner is a freshman from Tasmania, Austrailia.
