SHAWNEE, Oklahoma --  The NOC Tonkawa Lady Mavs rallied from 10 points down in the second half to beat NOC Enid 72-69 in the NJCAA Region 2 Quarterfinals at OBU in Shawnee.

The Lady Mavs trailed 58-49 heading into the final period but outscored NOC Enid 23-11 in the fourth quarter to earn the three point win.

The Lady Mavs took their first lead since the first quarter on two Jordan Holman free throws with :58.6 left giving the Lady Mavs a 68-67 lead.  After Enid took a 69-68 lead, Holman made two free throws with :43 to give the Lady Mavs a 70-69 lead.

After getting a defensive stop, Shelby Rayner hit two free throws to give NOC a 72-69 lead.

NOC Tonkawa then got one more defensive stop to win the game 72-69.

Jordan Holman led the Lady Mavs with 27 while Shelby Rayner added 13 and Travisha Cogdell 11.

Addie Trent had eight rebounds and four steals for the Lady Mavs while Jatalyah Williams had four assists.

NOC Enid shot 33% (20-60) from the floor and 79% 26-33) from the line.  The Lady Mavs shot 32% (25-77) from the floor and 65% (13-20) from the line.  NOC Tonkawa won the rebounding battle 52-45.  

The Lady Mavs trailed NOC Enid 36-31 at half.  Jordan Holman led NOC with 11 first half points.

The Lady Mavs lost both regular season contests to the Lady Jets.

The Lady Mavs (13-14) face top seed Eastern Friday at 1 p.m. at OBU.
