ALTUS, Oklahoma -- The NOC Lady Mavs used a strong second half to rout Western 99-75 in the conference opener at Western Thursday night.

NOC (4-4) was led by Jordan Holman with 25 points while Shelby Rayner added 15, Jatalyah Williams 14, and Delaney Reimer 13.

The Lady Mavs led 44-43 at half before NOC outscored the Pioneers 55-32 in the second half.

"Early in the game we weren't reacting very well in our man-to-man defense," said coach Greg Krause.  "I thought going zone and extending it into the front court got us reacting more aggressively. They're a tough cover because they have so many shooters. We're pleased to pick up a conference win on the road."

Holman added 11 rebounds while Addie Trent had six.

Williams had six assists and five steals.

NOC travels to Clarendon (TX) Saturday before hosting NEO on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
