ENID, Oklahoma --  For the second straight day, the NOC Lady Mavs dropped a tough one to Butler (KS) 80-78 on Saturday in Enid.

Shelby Rayner led the Lady Mavs with 20 points while Jordan Holman had 19, and Travisha Cogdell had 12.

Holman led the Lady Mavs with 10 rebounds while Rayner and Holman had four steals each.

"We did a good job of battling and keeping our composure," said coach Greg Krause.  "We had several chances down the stretch to go ahead. We have to continue to work on rebounding technique and defensive rotation. After playing four good teams in six days, we have until Thursday to prepare for our first conference game at Western."

The Lady Mavs shot 32% from the floor and 20% from 3-pooint range.
