PIEDMONT, Oklahoma -- NOC Tonkawa lost a pitchers dual to #25 Seminole State 3-1 Thursday night in a winner's bracket game in the Region 2/South Central District at Piedmont.

Seminole outhit the Mavs 7-4.  The Trojans scored two runs in the first and a single run in the third.

The Mavs scored their lone run in the fifth when NOC Tonkawa loaded the bases and later scored on a Maggie Glasgow bases loaded walk.  Faith Williams, Jadison Ackerman, Elyssa Kaniatobe, and Kayla Stover had hits fot e Mavs.

Makenzie Wilson allowed just three runs on seven hits while striking out five.

The Mavs (24-30) face NEO in an elimination game at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
