MIAMI, Oklahoma --  NOC Tonkawa built a 6-2 lead then held on for a 10-9 win at NEO Saturday in Miami.

Saturday's win gave the Mavs a split in the conference twinbill and completed a week of four road games, all doubleheaders.

Faith Williams, Maggie Glasgow, and Payton St. Andrews had two hits each for the Mavs, Elyssa Kaniatobe drove in two runs with a two-run triple.

Makenzie Wilson earned the win with 4.1 innings as the starter.  Kaidince Calvert and Jordan Johson worked in relief with Johnson earning the save.

Jules Leach drove home Calvert with what proved to be the winning run in the seventh.  

The Mavs are at Connors April 17 at 2 p.m./4 p.m.
