WILBURTON, Oklahoma -- Jadison Ackerman homered and drove in three runs in a 6-3 loss at Eastern on Tuesday in Wilburton.

The Mavs (16-23) in dropping Game 1 of a doubleheader, fell to 5-8 in conference.

Ackerman singled home Faith Williams in the first inning and then hit a two-run home run in the seventh, scoring Payton St. Andrews.

Eastern scored three runs in the first and three in the third accounting for their six runs against Makenzie Wilson and Kennedy Zook.
