MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- Faith Williams homered in an 8-2 loss to Rose State on Monday in Game 1 of a conference doubleheader.

The Mavs (16-21) fell to 5-6 in league play.  Rose (21-16) improved to 7-4.

Williams had two hits for the Mavs including two runs batted in while Jadison Ackerman had two hits including a double.

Jordan Johnson and Makenzie Wilson worked for the Mavs in the circle.

NOC led the Raiders 2-1 until Rose scored seven runs in the fifth to win 8-2.
