
Faith Williams hit two home runs including a grand slam and drove in five runs in a 10-4 win over NOC Enid Saturday in Tonkawa in Game 1 of a doubleheader.
Williams also scored four runs for the Mavs from the lead-off position. Jadison Ackerman also homered for the Mavs, her fifth inning grand slam gave the Mavs the winning 10-4 margin.
Williams' slam came in the fourth to give the Mavs a 6-4 lead.
Jordan Johnson worked all seven innings allowing two earned runs on seven hits.
The Mavs (15-18) improved to 4-5 in league while the Jets (8-14) fell to 1-8 in conference.
