Jordan Johnson allowed three runs over seven innings and Kaidince Calvert drove in four runs in an 8-3 win over NEO on Thursday.

The Mavs (9-16) improved to 1-4 in league while NEO (7-13) fell to 1-4.

Johnson allowed seven hits and struck out seven in earning the win in the circle.

Faith Williams had three hits including a double and triple with two runs scored.  Jadison Ackerman and Calver had two hits each.

NOC scored three runs in the first and fifth innings.
