NOC suffered its first loss of 2025 dropping a 12-7 decision to McCook (NE) on Friday in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday.

The Mavs fell to 2-1 with the loss.

NOC took a 4-0 lead after one over McCook and were tied 6-6 in the third but McCook outscored the Mavs 6-1 the rest of the way.

Faith Williams and Kayla Stover had two hits each for NOC while Payton St. Andrews drove in two runs.

Jordan Johnson, Kennedy Zook, and Makenzie Wilson worked in the circle for the Mavs.
