Kerik Brown homered and Makenzie Wilson allowed no earned runs over five innings in a 7-3 win over Southern Nazarene JV, sweeping the doubleheader on Thursday.

Brown and Jadison Ackerman each had two hits  as the Mavs built and early 6-0 lead and held on for the 7-3 win.

Kaidince Calvert, Kailey Rich, Elyssa Kaniatobe, and Kayla Stover added hits for the Mavs, Stover had two runs batted in.

Wilson allowed five hits and two unearned runs in he circle while striking out three.  Calvert worked the final two innings allowing one run.
