New NOC Softball Coach Jeff Ray earned his first college win with a 6-2 decision over Southern Nazarene JV Thursday afternoon.

The Mavs (1-0) scored three runs in the first and three in the sixth to earn the 6-2 win.

Jadison Ackerman had two hits including a double and two runs scored.  Kaidince Calvert had a double and three runs batted in.  Ackerman and Kerik Brown added runs batted in for the Mavs.

Jordan Johnson earned the win allowing two runs and four hits in six innings.  Kennedy Zook worked a hitless seventh for the Mavs.
