Brown's big game leads Mavs over NOC Enid

ENID, Oklahoma -- Kerik Brown had three hits including two doubles and a home run leading NOC Tonkawa past NOC Enid 7-6 in Game 2 of a doubleheader on Monday in Enid.

The Mavs lost Game 1, 1-0.

Brown drove in five runs for the Mavs who out hit NOC Enid 12-9.  Ryllie Shipp added three hits including a double and two runs scored.

Abigail Farris had two hits while Maggie Glasgow added a two base hit.

Ashlyne Roblyer worked 4.2 innings with Jordan Johnson earning the save allowing one run over 2.1 innings.

The Mavs led 7-4 before Enid scored two runs in the 7th to get within 7-6.

In Game 1, the Mavs dropped a tough 1-0 decision to NOC Enid.  

The Mavs had two hits, singles by Hannah Endicott and Mikayla Arnold.

Jordan Johnson allowed just one run on four hits with one strikeout.

The Mavs (11-33) face Pratt (KS) Tuesday at 1 p.m./3 p.m. in the final regular season games for 2024.
