TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma -- The NOC Mavs dropped a road game at Murray State 3-1 on Thursday.
The Mavs (2-7) fell to 1-2 in conference play.
Trailing 1-0 in the first half, NOC scored their lone goal in the 38th minute when Gio Herrera scored on an assist from Alex Ellis.
Murray then took the lead in the 48th minute and put the game away with a goal in the 85th minute.
Herrera's goal was his first of the year.
NOC out shot Murray 11-9 but Murray had seven saves to the Mavs three.
NOC hosts NEO in another conference game Sunday at 4 p.m.
