Sophomores Ruben Flores and Kate LaSpisa earned Northern Oklahoma College Soccer Student Athletes of the Week for Sept. 23.

Flores is from Tulsa attended Tulsa Union High School while LaSpisa is from Bartlesville.

"Ruben (Flores) had two good games for us this week," said coach Michael Duroy. "He picked up a shutout against Eastern Oklahoma State and gave up just one goal versus Dodge City."

"Kate (LaSpisa) has been solid and a calm presence in our back line," said coach Jade Ovendale.  "She reads the game extremely well and gives us everything she has. Kate always has a positive attitude in games and training and is great and supporting teammate."
