Lou Griffith enters his first year with the Mavericks as an assistant coach.

Griffith comes to NOC after serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach at North Park University in Chicago for the last two years. In his two years at North Park the Vikings were 34-20 and won a CCIW Title in 2023 earning an NCAA tournament bid where they made a run to the Sweet 16.

Prior to Griffith's time at North Park he served as an assistant coach at Florida Coastal Prep for a year, where he focused on player development and recruiting.

Lou is a native of Washington, Illinois, and played at multiple levels of college basketball, as a walk on at Bradley University, and a Junior College player at Lincoln College both in Illinois. Lou then went on to finish his career at St. Thomas Aquinas a Division II program, in New York.

Griffith got his undergraduate degree from St Thomas Aquinas with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and graduated with his Masters in Organizational Leadership from North Park University.
