GARDEN CITY, Kansas --  NOC Tonkawa fell to 0-4 with a 101-91 loss at Garden City Friday night in Garden City, Kansas.

Five Mavs reached double figures with Kody Hickerson leading the way with 19.  Benji Nelson and Jack Riley each added 18 while James Brown, Jr. also reached double figures with 15.  Jace Breath was the last Maverick in double figures with 11.

NOC shot 52% from the field while Garden City shot 54% from the floor.

Riley led the Mavs with nine rebounds while Nelson, Breath, and Brandon Domsch had eight rebounds each.  

Garden City led the Mavs 52-49 and built the lead to double figures maintaining that advantage through the second half.

The Mavs (0-4) face Dodge City on Saturday at noon.
