ARKANSAS CITY, Kansas -- NOC lost their season opener to Indepdence (KS) in the season opener 92-82 at the Cowley Classic.

Jace Breath led the Mavs with 16 points while Brandon Domsch and Benji Nelson added 14 each.  Jack Riley also reached double figures with 13.

Riley led the Mavs with 10 rebounds while Breath added nine.  Kabron Lewis had six rebounds off the Mavs bench.

NOC shot 36% from the floor and 14% from 3-point range.  NOC was excellent from the line shooting 78% (31-40).

NOC trailed Independence 50-44 at half.
