NOC trailed by as many as 25 in the second before a last minute rally fell just short in a 93-89 loss to Seminole.
The Mavs trailed 63-38 with 14:00 left and rallied to 91-86 with :19.6 left before the Trojans sealed the win at the line.
Javontae Campbell led the Mavs with 33 while Anthony Ignowski and Tyson Brown added 12 each.
Campbell had six rebounds and four assists for NOC.
The Mavs trailed 49-35 at the half.
The NOC Mavs (13-11) are now 5-6 in league while the Trojans (5-19) improved to 2-9.
NOC hosts Murray State Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
