The NOC Enid Jets upset NOC Tonkawa in a thrilling 82-75 double overtime Region 2 Quarterfinal game Thursday at OBU in Shawnee.
The Jets (12-18) now face Seminole in the Region 2 Semi-Finals at 8 p.m. Friday.
NOC Enid forced overtime on two free throws by Jlynn Counter with :00.4 left in regulation tying the score at 64-64.
Then, the Mavs forced a second overtime when Cam Malray dunked home a missed shot at the buzzer forcing an extra five minutes with the score tied 73-73.
NOC Enid dominated the second overtime outscoring the Mavs 9-2 earning the seven point victory.
NOC Enid was led by Quentin Harvey with 25 points while Jlynn Counter added 18 and Dakoda Joachim 10. Jamarion Butler led the Jets with 10 rebounds while Counter had three steals.
Fede Federiko led the Mavs with 18 points and 15 rebounds while Nick Cham added 12 points and Cashius McNeilly 10. Cam Malray added 11 rebounds for the Mavs.
NOC Enid led the Mavs 27-25 at half.
For the game, the Jets shot 38% while the Mavs shot 39%. The Jets shot 65% from the line while the Mavs shot 60%.
The Mavs were the top seed entering the tournament while the Jets were the #8 seed.
The Mavs ended their season at 21-8.
