Northern Oklahoma College Maverick Barron Tanner guard signed with Salem University (WV), according to Mavs coach Donnie Jackson.

Tanner, a Bartlesville native, averaged nine points and four rebounds for the Mavs.

"I couldn't be more excited for BTJ," Jackson said.  "He has worked hard on the things he needed to so he could be in a position to get a good basketball opportunity.  I'm happy Baron is seeing the fruits of his labor.  He will be a valuable asset at Salem."
