The Mavericks were led by Demaree King and Tyrel Morgan with 22 points each in the win over Connors (15-3).  Avante Lederer had 15 points and 12 rebounds.

NOC built a 31-21 halftime lead and then exploded in the second half scoring 64 points.  By mid-way in the second half, NOC had built a 65-39 lead and cruised to the win.

"I thought we had really good defensive energy last night," said coach Donnie Jackson.  "We were flying around and rotating much better than we did Monday against Labette.  We really attacked the glass on both ends."

"Deaveon (Bankston) and Justin (Wilson) brought energy off the bench while Avante (Lederer), Tyrel (Morgan), and Demaree (King) all made timely offensive plays.  We need Avante to continue to hit the glass like he has been."

We really need to find a way to go to Redlands and get a road conference win," he added.  "They are a dangerous offensive team."
