NOC athletes Hannah Maples and Avante Lederer were named Student Athletes of the Week for Dec. 9.

Maples is a sophomore from Ringwood while Lederer is a freshman from Conyers, Georgia.

For the week, Maples averaged 15 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, shot 47.8% from the field (11-23) and 54.5% from the 3 point line (6-11).

"Hannah continues to be one of our most consistent scorers and rebounders," said coach Greg Krause.  "Her strengths will be a key part of preparation for our next 14 conference games."

Lederer had 18 points and 13 rebounds in a win over NOC Enid last Thursday.

"Avante had a good week," said coach Donnie Jackson.  "He has earned a starting spot.  He really stepped up in our conference game against Enid and he has a completely new mindset the past two weeks.  Hopefully, he continues with the same focus."
