Mavs rout Southwestern JV

The Northern Oklahoma College Mavs routed Southwestern (KS) JV Monday night at the Foster-Piper Fieldhouse in Tonkawa.

The 12th ranked Mavs (11-1) were 111-42 winners led by Demaree King with 25 points.

Andrew Gronigan had 15 points for the Mavs while Grayson Chandler-Early added 11 points Mark Berry 10.

Chandler-Early, Berry, and Malik Crawford had six rebounds each while JD Ray had nine assists for the Mavs.

NOC shot 62 percent from the floor and 52 percent from 3-point range.

"It was a good opportunity to get everyone an opportunity to play," said coach Donnie Jackson.  "I was proud of Drew (Gronigan) and Mark (Berry), they both did some good things."

"Hopefully this shook off the turkey from last week because we have a big conference game at NOC Enid on Thursday," he added.  "They are very good and well coached, we will have to bring our A-game if we want any chance at winning."

The game tips off at the Mabee Center in Enid at 7:30 p.m.
