Northern Oklahoma College Maverick Demaree King was named the NJCAA D1 and also the Region 2 Player of the Week of the Week for Nov. 18.

King is a sophomore from Tulsa.

For the week, King averaged 22 points on 63 percent shooting making 12 of 21 3-point baskets in three Maverick wins.  He also averaged three rebounds, three steals, and four assists per contest.

The Mavs (9-0) are ranked 17th in the latest NJCAA Poll.
