Jack Nathan is in his first year as a Maverick baseball assistant.

Nathan played five years at High Point University (NC) where he was a Relief Pitcher of the Week nominee, a 2-time Big South Freshman of the Year nominee, 5-time Millis Scholar Athlete, Presidential Scholar Athlete, and Baseball Representative for the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee).  He was also a Cal Ripken Summer League All-Star.

He was also a player/assistant coach for the 2023 Waterloo Bucks where he helped coach the team to a 12 game winning streak, assisted in multiple players journey to Division 1 Baseball as well as professional contracts. 

A native of Vienna, VA (Washington DC area), Nathan graduated from High Point University with a BA in Sports Management and is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Communication Business Leadership.
