NOC built an early 6-1 league and held off Carl Albert 9-4 on Thursday sweeping the conference doubleheader.

Aidan Zakarewicz, Blade Carver, and Joseph Canzoni had two hits each while Carson Taylor had two runs batted in.

After Carl Albert scored a run in the first, the Mavs answered with four of their own and then scored two in the third to take a 6-1 lead.  The Vikings cut the lead to 6-3 but NOC answered with three runs to take the 9-4 win.

NOC out hit the Vikings 10-4.

Liam McKinney worked 3.2 innings allowing three runs.  Nakni Anna, Hunder Vandermeer, and Rylan Newman worked 3.1 innnings of one run relief in back of McKinney.

The Mavs (39-4) are 11-3 in conference while the Vikings (24-14) are 2-8 in league.  The two teams play a conference doubleheader Saturday at Carl Albert.
